In the heart of Noto, the capital of Sicilian Baroque architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a few steps from the famous Cathedral, a noble palace from 1696 houses the boutique hotel Q92, part of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, characterized, in the refinement of its furnishings and works of art, by the charm of an aristocratic residence from another era.

Opened in 2021, the Q92 is one of the pearls of the Quartucci family, passionate Sicilian hoteliers who gave life to the QRA Hospitality group, a monogram of Quartucci Rosaria and Andrea (as well as the name of the hotel combined with the street number), the founders of the company that they carry on today with their children Gaia and Massimo, ambassadors of Sicilian culture and beauty in the world.

During the restoration of the palace, all the period decorations were recovered, such as the thick stone walls and the frescoes that adorn the high ceilings. Great care was dedicated to the interior design project that combines designer furniture, ancient paintings found in the palace and unique pieces made by artisans with works of art and Sicilian icons.

Everything is taken care of in the smallest detail, even the scent of each room for which typical local fragrances have been used, such as essences of orange blossom, bergamot and prickly pear.

There are 10 rooms, equipped with all comforts with king-size beds, en-suite bathrooms in oak wood and majolica with large walk-in showers and some also with a bathtub, towels and bathrobes in fine fabrics and bodycare by ETRO.

Most of the rooms have a breathtaking view of the baroque buildings of Noto, including the famous Cathedral, while others overlook the internal garden. A true gem, it is an oasis of relaxation with a swimming pool for the exclusive use of guests, characterized by the presence of Sicilian lemons, jasmine that release their typical scent on summer evenings, and many other tropical plants.

The Quartucci family opened their first hotel in 1993, transforming their family villa in Taormina into an elegant and intimate residence with nine rooms. Their warmth and attention to detail made the initiative such a success that they decided to open other properties.
