Completely renovated in 2021 and 2025, the hotel opened in 1993 when the Quartucci family, now among the most beloved Sicilian hoteliers, decided to transform the family villa into an elegant and intimate residence.

Villa Ducale has grown over time, from 8 to 25 rooms, all with sea views and unique features. Guests can choose from those with balconies overlooking Mount Etna and the Giardini di Naxos, those with a large panoramic terrace from which to watch the sunset, or the Prestige rooms, inaugurated in 2025, with patios and heated mini-pools with hydromassage overlooking a marvelous infinity pool with a lounge bar, among the most beautiful in Sicily.

Nestled on a series of terraces sloping down to the sea, Villa Ducale’s spaces combine the best of Italian and Sicilian design, surrounded by flowers and greenery and a panoramic terrace where a fantastic breakfast is served.

Prepared fresh each morning by the hotel’s master pastry chefs, Sicilian specialties are served, including pastries, cakes, and biscuits, local cheeses and hams, as well as a wide selection of egg dishes à la carte.

The stunning terrace also houses the property’s restaurant, Incanto, open to guests and beloved by the local community. It offers traditional island recipes prepared with local, seasonal ingredients.

The menu features dishes that express the best flavors of Sicily: from lamb balls, Ragusano fondue, aromatic herbs, and toasted hazelnut crumbs, to pasta alla Norma and mezze maniche with Nebrodi black pig white ragù, wild fennel, and almond cream, to the catch of the day in a yellow cherry tomato sauce, Salina capers, and pine nuts. Tapas and simpler dishes are also available to accompany a drink or to enjoy at the Pool Bar.
