One of the most beautiful glamping in Italy, Iuta Farm was born in the lands of an ancient farmhouse immersed in the hills of the Iblei mountains a few kilometers from the wonderful baroque city of Noto.

Its story begins with that of Elena and Giulio who fell in love between Milan and Vicenza and decided to give life to a dream right in the land of their fathers, Sicily, choosing the magnificent territory of Val di Noto, kissed by baroque suggestions and a generous nature made of expanses of centuries-old olive trees, almonds, medicinal plants, oranges, lemons, carobs and fruit trees.

Iuta Farm was born from the desire to uproot the roots of an abandoned place, to bring it back to life through new forms of eco-sustainable hospitality that are good for the heart.

The perfect place to give birth to a new model of hospitality that lives in symbiosis with the surrounding nature, respecting it and enjoying its fruits; which is why even the name chosen, the material (jute) of typical work bags, evokes this vision.

Thus in 2017 Iuta Farm was born, an organic farm with 5 original eco lodges with covered terraces and every kind of comfort, from the king size bed to the smart TV, air conditioning and heating, and 4 suites created in the rooms of the ancient farmhouse with private veranda and mini pool for exclusive use.

The heart of the resort is the salt water swimming pool, surrounded by aromatic plants, such as rosemary, lavender, and an orange grove, which give off a scent of Sicily, and the large living area where vegetarian and vegan breakfasts are prepared every day with organic products made in the farm or locally sources. Also, lunches and light dinners could be booked on request.

The furnishings are typically Sicilian, as was the choice of materials, from cocciopesto to lime plasters that maintain the local rural identity, combined with a minimal design, exotic furnishings and custom-made furniture made by combining oxidized iron and wood.

Only warm shades that match the colors of nature, creating a very relaxing atmosphere. Iuta Farm is, in fact, first and foremost a place designed for 360° well-being and relaxation.

During the week, almost every day, you can take part in group lessons with yoga teachers, or book private lessons, including meditation, aromatherapy and gong baths.

The Secret

The word “glamping” was first coined in the United Kingdom in 2005, a combination of the words glam and camping. A concept, that of a luxurious stay in a tent, which however has a long history behind it. It became fashionable in the 1920s when the European elite, who could then afford to travel, had tents set up enriched with all the comforts to be able to visit countries that were still unknown at the time, such as Africa, without any discomfort.
